STEP ONE— If you are new to boutique women’s odd denim sizing, you are going to take your highest even size in a store and subtract 1 (note, this is NOT sizing down, this is your true MJ denim size).

Example if you are a 8 in a store, your true MJ denim size is a 7.  If you are a 10 in a store, your true size is an 9.   If you can wear two even sizes depending on the store, your true size is the middle size.  For example, if you are sometimes a 10 and sometimes a 12, your true size is a 11.

Curvy (14w-24w): Your true MJ denim size is the even size below your store size. For example, if you are an 20W  in a store, your true MJ denim size is a 18W.

SPECIFIC FOR THIS JEAN!!! 

Sizes 1-15:  Size down 2 size from your true MJ denim size described above.  For example, if you are a 12 in a store, your true size is an 11, and in these you would get a 7. If you want a less fitted tighter jean you can go 1 down. Katie went two sizes down on these.
